"CAN THEY BE EXAMINED?"
YES & NO. With the Passage of "E.P.P.A." in 1988 the (Employee Polygraph Protection Act of 1988) the use of
Polygraph in the work place is limited. However, it has not been abolished.
There are certain guidelines which must be followed. As long as
all of these Federal guidelines (and State Laws) are followed, testing of employees is permissible.
- In many states, the usage of Polygraph is strictly prohibited. The mere request can be a violation of

alternatives to the former "Pre-Employment Exams".
